CHARGE Syndrome Family Support Group (CFSG) would like to invite you to the CHARGE Syndrome UK Professionals Day 2018.

This is a fantastic opportunity to hear from experts in CHARGE and to meet and network with other healthcare professionals interested in this complex congenital condition that affects 1 in 10,000 children.

The programme is being finalised but there are already a number of national and international speakers signed up, including:

  • Prof Conny van Ravenswaaij - Geneticist and Netherlands CHARGE group Medical Advisor, University of Groningen, Netherlands

  • Dr Albert Basson - Reader in Developmental Biology, Kings College, London

  • Dr Siddharth Banka - Consultant Clinical Geneticist, University of Manchester

  • Dr Gail Deuce - MSI Constulant, Gail Deuce Consultancy

  • Dr Helena Gleeson - Endocrinologist & Transition lead, University Hospital Birmingham

  • Dr Caroline Richards, Consultant Psychologist, University of Birmingham

There will also be sessions from the parents' perspective and on the practicalities of setting up a service.

 

Accommodation
A limited number of rooms have been reserved at Premier Inn - South Longbridge, which is 10 min drive or 15 min bus journey to the venue. Double, Twin, and Accessible rooms available. £75/night room only, +£8/person inc breakfast. Free wifi. Supermarket and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
